A pic from the summer....

I forgot I hadn't shared this adorable picture of my two girls! While we were in the DFW area for our vacation I took them to the American Girl Store for lunch and a little shopping!

I made them and their dolls matching outfits. They looked so cute eating lunch with their dolls next to them.

Fun Cross Shirt

I love shirts with crosses on them!

I was recently inspired to create this fun cross shirt from "some" of the fabrics I have on hand! :)
If you notice there are no two fabric "patches" alike on this!

It is accented with a few swavorski crystals to give that little touch of bling!

I have gotten comliments on it just about every time I have worn it! Let me know if you would be interested in ordering one of these unique shirts, I can promise that no two will be alike!

Pocket size tissue holder

I have made quite a few of these little pocket tissue holders lately! These help keep your purse/pocket size packs of tissues neat and tidy and clean! These make great little gifts, especially paired with a matching key fob! My girls each have one in their backpacks. I also found some little packs of anti-bacterial wipes that will fit in the cases too!

Finally made a couple of things for myself!

I was inspired by Aimee's post on her blog sewsensible last week! She posted a top (her post is here) that she had made for herself and I thought I should really make something for myself! She doesn't have a pattern for it, but I am hoping she releases one soon! (I already have some fabric picked out to make it too!)

I found a pattern somewhere else that I thought was cute and got busy! It reminded me of when I was in college and I would stay up half the night to make something so I could wear it the next day! This really didn't take long to sew up I just had other distractions that night!

I am stalking Aimee's blog to hopefully see one day that she is ready to release that pattern! :)

Hello friends!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT summer!!! It has been incredibly busy at our house the last few weeks. We had all the usual end of year activities, then I jumped right into getting VBS decorations done. That was a lot of fun and I will have a better idea what we will need for next year!
Here are a few of the things I have been working on lately!

This was a towel for our little neighbor for her birthday. The top scoop is actually lime green and the pink is brighter IRL.Another towel for a friend's birthday! This is my favorite gift to give during the summer! This was the first 3D embroider I had done. Love the 3D flowers on this one!A cute little birthday cake for our neighbor that turned 5!I made these travel mugs for teacher/bus driver gifts. I ended up making I think 10 of these for my 2 girls teachers and their bus driver and then some for a friend for their teachers.A couple personalized key fobs for gifts.A personalized sunglass/glasses holder. This has padding and will hold large sunglasses!A golf towel for a friend for her dad for Father's Day! I have also done this design on a burp cloth.A couple of kitchen towels I did for my SIL for her newly re-done kitchen!!

NEW Camera strap!!!

Just finished this yummy camera strap and listed it in my etsy shop!

I have been wanting to try the minky for awhile and just had not taken the plunge! I had someone on etsy recently contact me about making them a strap with minky so thought now was as good a time as any!!!

I ABSOLUTELY love the way minky feels, it is so very soft!

Summer is right around the corner.....

...well if you're in Texas it feels like it already is! I have made several beach/pool towels for my girls to give as gifts and a few as orders for friends to give as gifts also. This is such a cute and fun gift to give. I think the surfin' monkey is just TOO cute!!

Baby Girl Cuteness!!!!

My cousin is having her baby shower on Sunday. I can't go but thought I could get something in the mail to my aunt so she could take it for me. So I made these cute little ensembles today! I so wish I had made stuff like this for my sweet girls! (Or I just wish mine weren't growing so fast!!!)

I have not been too creative lately......

I've been pretty busy lately with "stuff", but not super creative!

I just did a bunch of shirts for a friend's husband for his new business. Had his logo digitized and embroidered it on a bunch of polo shirts. That was fun to do something new and learned a ton from it! I forgot to take any pics of them so when I do some more I'll have to snap some then!

I made these cute burp cloths for my neighbor for her to give at a shower. Love the pink and brown and this may be my new favorite font!!

My oldest turned 11 yesterday!!! We are re-doing her room for her birthday present! I bought a cute headboard/footboard yesterday off craigslist that we are going to paint for her. I'll make her a quilt/comforter. I'm still working on coming up with all the fabrics. I'm using a PB teen one as my inspiration! I'll try to post pics as I go along.
